NORTHRIDGE, CA - Since the pandemic Los Angeles county hasn't been able to reopen fitness gyms leaving many people unmotivated to workout. That’s when Alix Merina started his company Tractfit, a mobile gym that comes to you. Merina says, “I’ve always envisioned having my own gym but I wanted to be unique with it, so I figured why not find a way to make it unique from other gyms, and that’s when I came up with Tractfit.”

It’s as simple as attaching to a truck and it can be taken to any destination of your desires. All you have to do is book the gym on their website and customize what you want such as one-on-one personal training or nutritional guidance.
This mobile gym can go to anyplace you want it to from the beautiful beaches of Malibu to the front of your doorstep. Tractfit Personal Trainer, Chris Pinelo says, “We can take it to a lake or down the beach somewhere else, we try to take it anywhere catered to the client.”

The company says they want to make it easy for clients to feel safe working out during this pandemic.Tractfit employees are required to wear face masks, and social distancing protocols are enforced.
During an April 2020 survey in the United States, 27 percent of respondents stated that they had been exercising less often than usual as a result of the crisis.
Clients can feel safe working out because Covid-19 protocols are being enforced. Lucas Reynoso has a client for Tractfit who says likes the mobile gym concept. “Reynoso says, “Covid happened and I realized I was getting out of shape and I thought it would be best for me to get back in the gym and get my body right.”
Meanwhile, there is no set day when gyms will be fully open in Los Angeles county because of the rise of Covid-19 cases, but Tractfit plans on operating and helping people reach their fitness goals all in a safe environment.
